Help Keep Your Children Cavity Free!

It can be nerve racking to keep your child’s smile healthy. Thinking about your children having to get a cavity filled, or being in the dental chair for a long period of time can be stressful, but you can take precautions that can keep their smile healthy for a lifetime.

1.     Schedule routine cleanings. Have a dentist keep an eye on your child’s teeth and on track can ensure that dental problems are taken care of quickly instead of waiting for a major problem to crop up.
2.     Have your children drink water before bed instead of milk or any other liquid. Water can rinse any leftover food from their smile, but it also ensures that there is no extra sugar staying on their teeth risking health.
3.     Don’t leave home without a healthy snack for your child.  It can be easy to feed your child a processed snack when you are out and about and they are hungry, but having a bag of carrots or other healthy snack along for the ride can keep their smile healthy and decrease the sugar that is left on their teeth in between brushing.

Your child should have a healthy smile that leaves you free from anxiety and stress. For more information, contact Dr. Cameron Fuller and his team today!
